From our Alumni... Maraming salamat po!

"LRN Filipino through LFC has given us a strong foundation to build language learning on, they have also encouraged us to take an active interest in Filipino culture and learn more about history. Since joining LRN Filipino, I have been encouraged to attend more talks, exhibitions, meetings, and events than ever before, and because of this encouragement, I feel like I understand my identity as a Filipina better."

Jessica Barett, 24
Class of 2018-2019
London, UK

"An incredible experience with both students and teacher. It was special, warm and a great opportunity to learn Filipino. Teacher Nelma is great, friendly, positive, helpful, and approachable… it was a real honour to be taught and educated by my teacher."

 Jolly La Barbera

Adult Online Student

“I have been attending the adult Filipino language classes since its inception. My intention when I joined the language class was to develop and deepen my understanding and practice of the Filipino language, but I found in my classmates and tutors is a family where I could
cultivate my love of all things Filipino.”

Ronnie Mortimer, Solicitor

In-person Student

“Our children, born outside the Philippines and educated in England, have their own social life, not connected to the Philippines. But it is our duty to impart to them our language and that is what LRN Filipino has helped us to accomplish. I will be forever grateful.”
